I have an old Dupont commericial color chip chart dated September 1955, I tried to match the numbers at my local paint supplier he could not do it I figured it was worth a shot to ask Dupont if they could help out and below is the results.
"Here is the list of all your colors you requested, all available in Chromabase and other qualities. I hope this can be of some help to you and your friends who own these trucks. Have a great day. Most of these are close matches from our Spectamaster books."
Now I have not tried these out to see if they are accurate but I figure it is a good starting point the paints could be adjusted. There are no exact matches because these paints are no longer used. If you use these you do so at your own risk, the codes below were provided by Dupont and thanks for their assistance with this.
The color chips below were scanned in and should not be used as a final color match, computers tend to display color differently.
